- Cafe Ventanas – (Eleanor Roosevelt College cafeteria) – cafeteria food, but in a beautiful building with “breathtaking architectural design”
- Oceanview Terrace – (Thurgood Marshall College cafeteria) – cafeteria food, but with an ocean view
- Price Center – includes various fast food and not so fast food options: Bombay Coast (Sat. only), Burger King, Lemongrass, Panda Express, Rubios, Santorinis, Seed & Sprout, Shogun Sushi & Teriyaki, Subway, Taco Villa, Tapioca Express
- the Bistro at the Strand (closed Sat, open Sun 10am-3pm) – sushi bar, Pacific-Rim inspired menu
Off campus:

More generally
There are many delightful places, plates, and potions to experience in La Jolla and the greater San Diego area. Here we’ve listed a few of our favorite haunts. Sections titled “In La Jolla” are listed in order of their approximate distance from UC San Diego’s main campus and are either within conceivable walking distance or within 30 minutes travel by public transit. Please ask any of the conference organizers if you would like more recommendations for food and drink in the area. We would love to share our favorite parts of the city with you.
